Hi quyen,
At this point, we don’t know whether your camera problem is being caused by an issue with the software or the hardware on your iPhone. However, contrary to common belief, there are plenty of software issues that could be causing the problem. A software crash, outdated iOS, or a faulty app could be the reason why your iPhone camera is not working or appears to be black!
The steps above will help you diagnose and fix the real reason why your iPhone camera isn’t working. Start by cleaning off the camera and addressing smaller software issues. If those steps don’t work, perform some deeper software fixes, or get hardware repairs if you need them.
Hey there, I got an iPhone 12, and the back facing camera stopped working one day (flashlight as well) the front facing camera continued to work, up until about a week ago. The back facing camera stopped working almost 3 months ago. Not sure if this has anything to do with it or not but the day the back facing camera stopped working was the day after I spent the whole day on a beach. I do remember picking up my phone at one point and it being warm, being exposed to the sun. I thought I might have burned something on the inside but now that the front facing camera stopped I have no ideas
I have tried all of the things suggested and my camera, front or back doesn’t work at all
