iPhone 12 Pro Max Ringing In Silent Mode? Fix

How to fix iPhone 12 Pro Max ringing in silent mode issue

Fix 1: Check the Ring/Silent Switch

If you notice your iPhone 12 Pro Max ringing in silent mode, look on the left side of your device. Check to see if the small switch is set to silent – it will show an orange color.

Fix 2: Restart your iPhone

You can restart your iPhone by heading over to:

  • Settings
  • General and scroll down
  • and then tap Shut Down
  • Then turn your iPhone back on

Fix 3: Force restart your iPhone

Do not worry, the content on your iPhone will not be deleted. Here is how:

  • On your iPhone 12 Pro Max, press and release the volume up button and then volume down button and then press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo on the screen.

Fix 4: Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS version

If your iPhone is running an outdated version of iOS, then you may be encountering an issue that’s already been addressed in a recent update, so you should make sure that your device is running the very latest version of iOS. You can update your iPhone easily and wirelessly (you can also update your device via iTunes). If you want to do this wirelessly, make sure that your iPhone is connected to a Wi-Fi network. Then tap:

  • Settings
  • General
  • Software Update
  • Tap Download and Install
