iPhone 12 mini bluetooth not Working? Here’s the fix

Sure, sometimes there’s an issue with your headset, speaker, or in-car infotainment system, but often enough it’s a software issue that a few simple steps can fix. Bluetooth technology gives you the ability to wirelessly connect various hardware (TV, computer, car’s stereo, headset, etc) to your iPhone by associating them with your phone (also called pairing). Once paired, your iPhone connects to these accessories if Bluetooth is working.

Here is what you can do when iPhone 12 mini Bluetooth is not working

You should first make sure Bluetooth is turned on and check if is Working.
If Bluetooth it’s not working still, you can try deleting other devices from Bluetooth settings, updating your iOS software, resetting your network settings, or restarting your iPhone entirely. With issues when connecting to the car, check the manufacturer’s manual for the device and the car and reset your connections.

Here are a few ways to troubleshoot iPhone 12 mini bluetooth that is not working

Toggle Bluetooth

The first solution if you find Bluetooth not working on iPhone 12 mini is to ensure your iPhone is transmitting its Bluetooth signal properly. You can do this by simply turning things off and then back on again.

Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to bring up Control Center.
Tap the Bluetooth button to turn BT off.
Tap the Bluetooth button again to turn BT back on.

Alternatively, you can perform the same steps but tap the Airplane Mode button to toggle Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular all off and then back on again.

Once you’re done, check if bluetooth is Working. If it works, great. If not, keep reading.

Make sure your device is connected to Bluetooth

Step 1: launch Settings.

Step 2: Tap on Bluetooth.

Step 3: When the Bluetooth menu is opened, you should get a list of all the devices you’ve connected with before. If the particular device you want to connect to is not shown, make sure the device is set for pairing so it shows up in the list.

Step 4: Tap on the device so it moves from “Other Devices” to “My Devices.”

Step 5: Then tap on the device so it changes from “Not Connected” to “Connected.”

Delete other devices from Bluetooth

Sometimes Bluetooth can have an issue connecting with too many devices, or you can’t tell which device is the one you want, and you have to delete others.

Step 1: Launch Settings.

Step 2: Tap on Bluetooth.

Step 3: Tap on other devices to disconnect. If it’s a device you will never use again, tap on the “i” button and then select Forget This Device.

Update your software to the most recent iOS

Sometimes items, including Bluetooth, won’t function properly on your iPhone 12 mini if your iOS is out of date.

Step 1: Launch Settings.

Step 2: Go to General.

Step 3: Tap on Software Update. Tap on this to update. If there is a red circle in it, there is an update waiting.

Step 4: Tap on it to update to the most recent iOS.

Reset your network settings

Step 1: Launch Settings.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap on General.

Step 3: Scroll down again and tap on Reset.

Step 4: Now, tap on “Reset Network Settings.”

Restart your iPhone

If you find iPhone 12 mini bluetooth not Working after trying the above steps, simply turn your phone off and on again to refresh the Software.
Try connecting to Bluetooth again after you’ve done this.
Step 1: Open settings

Step2: Tap general

Step 3: Scroll down and tap shut down.
