How to Fix iPhone 12 Bluetooth Issues in 2021

Part 2: Solutions to Fix iPhone 12 Bluetooth Issues

Fix 1. Restart iPhone Bluetooth

The first thing to do when you are having iPhone 12 bluetooth problems is to give Bluetooth a fresh restart. Here is how:

Step 1: Head over to “Settings” > “Bluetooth” and toggle the switch to off position.

Step 2: Then press and hold either volume button and power button, when you see “slide to power off”, drag it from left to right to turn off your iPhone.

Step 3: Press and hold the Power button to restart your iPhone and turn on Bluetooth again.

Fix 2. Forget Bluetooth Device And Add It Back.

If the above tip didn’t work for you, deleting the corrupted Bluetooth device from your phone and then adding it back can fix iPhone 12 bluetooth pairing issues. Here is how:

Step 1: Start the Settings app and tap on Bluetooth.

Step 2: Tap on the “i” icon against the device name you’re having problems connecting.

Step 3:Tap on the “Forget This Device” button and confirm your action.

Step 4: Now pair your iPhone with the device again, and see if Bluetooth is working again.

Fix 3. Reset Network Settings on Your iPhone 12

If there is an error happening in the Network module level, you can reset that part of the device settings without affecting the overall device settings. Since Bluetooth is part of the Network module, you can reset it in default factory values. Here is how:

Step 1: Start the “Settings” app on your iPhone and tap “General”. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and tap “Reset”..

Step 2: Here, select “Reset Network Settings” and type in your passcode and your iPhone will turn off and restart.

Fix 4. Restore And Setup As New iPhone

If you are still having iPhone 12 bluetooth connection issues after performing all the above steps, your last option is to factory reset your device. This step will remove the problematic settings on your iPhone 12. Here is how:
Step 1: Start the “Settings” app on your iPhone and tap “General”. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and tap “Reset”..

Step 2: Here, select “Erase all content and Settings” and select ”Continue”

Step 3: Choose “Erase Now” and Type in your passcode and your iPhone will turn off and restart.
